Blok Foods Limited – group of 4 restaurants in Malta:
· Mondo – Mriehel
· Mamachi – Portomaso
· Festacci – Qormi
· The Greenhouse – Swieqi
We are growing and looking for experienced: Dishwashers.
Dishwashers play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization in kitchens, ensuring that all dishes utensils, and kitchen equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. Join an amazing, growing company with 4 established restaurants.
Requisitos
· Experience: Experience is a must in the role you are applying for.
· Non-EU citizens credentials: Non-EU citizens must hold a valid Skills Pass, Food Handling certificate, and QR Code [1.1].
· EU citizens credentials: EU citizens must hold a valid Food Handling certificate or be ready to obtain it quickly [1.1].
· Availability: Availability for shift work, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays. Reliability and punctuality with consistent attendance essential for kitchen operations.
· Physical fitness: Physically fit to stand for long periods and handle repetitive tasks; able to safely lift and carry kitchen items (pots, racks, deliveries).
· Hygiene standards: Strong hygiene and cleanliness standards; able to follow food safety and sanitation procedures (HACCP principles).
· Operational pace: Ability to work fast under pressure during peak service while maintaining quality and safety.
· Communication: Basic English communication skills to understand instructions, safety rules, and team coordination.
· Teamwork: Team player attitude; willing to support chefs and kitchen staff with cleaning, organisation, and back-of-house tasks.
