O'Donoghue Ring Collection
Café du Parc is a thriving café and bar in the centre of Killarney. It is part of the Killarney Plaza Hotel and Spa. It is open 7 days and nights per week, serving breakfast, lunch, and a wide range of beverages, with entertainment on weekends. It serves a wide variety of guests, from locals to international visitors. The café was fully refurbished recently and offers a relaxed setting for socialising.
We are seeking an experienced full-time Barista to join the team within Café du Parc. The candidate will be required to work a range of shifts, including weekends.
Key Responsibilities of this role
· Prepare and serve a variety of specialty coffees and beverages to a consistently high standard.
· Maintain excellent knowledge of the menu, including seasonal offerings and upselling opportunities.
· Ensure the coffee station and service areas are clean, organised, and fully stocked at all times.
· Deliver warm, friendly, and attentive service to create a memorable guest experience.
· Handle cash and card transactions accurately in line with company procedures.
· Assist with opening and closing duties, including setup and end-of-day cleaning.
· Support the wider café and bar team during busy periods as required.
· Monitor stock levels and communicate replenishment needs to supervisors.
· Follow all health, safety, and food safety procedures in accordance with company policies.
· Contribute to a positive team environment and uphold the brand standards of Café du Parc and Killarney Plaza Hotel & Spa.
Requisitos
The ideal candidate for this position
· Experience in a similar environment is necessary.
· Barista training/qualification is required.
· Excellent customer service skills.
· A good attitude and friendly manner.
· Be able to work under pressure in a busy environment.
· Ability to work as part of a team.
· Fluent English.
