Funciones
At Finn Lough, the details matter.
From our accommodation and wellness spaces to the grounds, equipment and behind-the-scenes systems that keep the resort running, our Maintenance team plays a huge part in creating the experience our guests come here for.
We’re looking for a practical, reliable and hands-on Maintenance Assistant to join the team – someone who enjoys variety, likes solving problems and takes pride in keeping things working, looking good and running smoothly.
No two days are likely to look exactly the same.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll support the day-to-day upkeep of the resort, including:
General maintenance and repairs, including basic plumbing, carpentry, painting and similar tasks
Groundskeeping, landscaping and outdoor maintenance
Supporting preventative maintenance checks across the property
Helping with logistics, equipment and operational requirements around the resort
Responding promptly to maintenance requests and resolving issues efficiently
Supporting the upkeep of guest accommodation, facilities and back-of-house areas
Helping ensure health, safety and maintenance standards are consistently met
What we’re looking for
You’ll be practical, proactive and comfortable rolling up your sleeves.
Requisitos
Ideally, you’ll bring:
At least one year’s maintenance experience within a commercial environment
A practical approach to problem-solving and repairs
The ability to organise your own workload and work independently when required
A positive, team-focused attitude
Good communication and people skills
A customer-focused mindset and awareness that even behind-the-scenes work contributes to the guest experience
Basic IT troubleshooting skills
Confidence working outdoors and across a large rural property
Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and some evenings
A valid driving licence
Even better if you have…
Experience within hospitality, hotels or resort maintenance would be a real advantage.
We’d also love to hear from you if you have experience working with any of the following:
Heating systems, heat pumps, burners or water pumps
Salto access systems
Spa, sauna, hot tub or wellness equipment
Laundry or commercial kitchen equipment
EV car chargers
Boats or watersports equipment
Vehicles and golf buggies
General resort or facilities equipment
Knowledge of systems already used at Finn Lough — including Heatboss and Salto — would be particularly useful, although training can be provided.
