We are looking to recruit a Human Resources Specialist to join a 9- month temporary project at Unilever, based at their Leioa plant (Bizkaia) . The scheduled start date is October 1, 2026, with the possibility of a slightly later start.
We are seeking an organized, proactive individual with a keen eye for detail, HR experience, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, international environment.
What will your duties be?
– Managing, updating, and maintaining employee records and documentation.
– Handling the administration of various HR processes.
– Preparing and managing documentation related to policies, procedures, and the employee lifecycle.
– Supporting the HR team with day- to- day administrative and operational tasks.
– Assisting with compliance with labor regulations, internal policies, and HR procedures.
– Supporting payroll processes by managing and reviewing employee data, absenteeism, vacation time, and other items.
– Participating in and supporting HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
– Contributing to the development and improvement of HR processes and operating models.
– Coordinating and handling the administration of training activities.
– Managing FUNDAE (Spanish state training fund) processes and coordinating with training providers.
– Administering and monitoring the Cultural Fund.
– Collaborating with various teams and departments on HR- related processes and projects.
– Performing other administrative tasks specific to the HR department.

Requisitos
What are we looking for in this role?
– University degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Business Administration, or a related field.
– At least 2 years of experience in Human Resources roles, preferably in generalist or shared services environments.
– Advanced level of English and Spanish, both spoken and written (C1 level in English) .
– Experience with HR administrative tasks.
– Knowledge of and/or experience with processes related to payroll, employee management, and employment documentation.
– Experience with training management and FUNDAE is a plus.
– An organized, methodical individual with a keen eye for detail.
– Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
– Strong communication and teamwork skills.
– Analytical mindset and a problem- solving approach.
– Proactive, autonomous, and committed to continuous improvement.
