SAVORIS is supporting Oceans ME with European candidate sourcing for an Explora Journeys Waiter recruitment project.
We are seeking experienced hospitality professionals with refined service standards, a guest-focused approach and the ability to work in a demanding, international and multicultural onboard environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage the assigned service station in a restaurant or buffet venue;
• Welcome guests, present menus and take food and beverage orders;
• Explain dishes and recommend wines and other beverages;
• Deliver attentive and personalised service to international guests;
• Maintain the correct mise en place, cleanliness and organisation of the station;
• Follow all service, public-health, hygiene and food-safety procedures;
• Support and supervise the Assistant Waiter assigned to the station;
• Assist with Room Service or other Food & Beverage operations when required;
• Report guest concerns promptly to the appropriate supervisor.
Requisitos
MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS
• Citizenship of a European Union Member State;
• Candidates must meet at least ONE of the following experience routes:
ROUTE A — SHORE-BASED EXPERIENCE
At least 2 years of full-time professional experience as a Waiter/Server, or in a more senior position, in a 5-star luxury hotel or an internationally recognised fine-dining restaurant;
OR
ROUTE B — CRUISE-SHIP EXPERIENCE
At least one successfully completed contract as a Waiter/Server, or in a more senior position, onboard a cruise ship, preferably within the luxury segment.
Candidates must also have:
• Senior High School education or equivalent;
• Fluent written and spoken English;
• Practical knowledge of high-volume, all-day dining or multi-cuisine restaurant operations;
• Familiarity with refined and luxury-service environments;
• A valid Food Safety/HACCP certificate;
• A valid passport;
• Availability to work onboard and join a multicultural team;
• An updated CV in English.
HIGHLY PREFERRED
• A degree, diploma or professional qualification in Hospitality, Hotel Management or a relevant field;
• Experience in a fast-paced and multicultural environment;
• Knowledge of European, Asian or other international cuisines;
• Previous experience within the luxury cruise segment;
• Fluency in an additional European language.
