· You will be jointly responsible for the flawless execution of weddings, banquets and special events to ensure our guests receive nothing but the best experience.
· You will be in charge of warmly greeting guests upon arrival, guiding them to their assigned tables, presenting event menus, and recommending or upselling premium beverage packages through your passion and knowledge, ensuring the highest guest satisfaction.
· You will also be in charge of setting up and preparing the banquet halls for service, as well as overseeing their careful breakdown and clearing once the event has concluded.
· You will actively support the banquet captains and other team members by ensuring that pristine, polished silverware and glassware are always readily available, food and beverages are run swiftly to tables in sync with the event timeline, and table settings are consistently maintained at a perfect standard.
· Serving others is your passion. You will be ensuring the event venue is in immaculate condition, and all service standards are adhered to.
· By taking part in a daily team briefing pre-service, you ensure you are well informed of the specific event function sheet, dietary restrictions and the upcoming service timeline.
· During your daily routine, you liaise with other departments when required to ensure an immaculate presentation of your event space, and high standards of cleanliness as well as maintenance are upheld at all times, including banquet furniture, staging, dance floors, bars, equipment, floors, fixtures and fittings.
