ABOUT THE POSITION
The Head Waiter is responsible for delivering professional and personalized service while supporting the daily restaurant operation. This role ensures service standards, operational organization and guest satisfaction are consistently maintained throughout all service periods.
GUEST EXPERIENCE
• Deliver professional, personalized and attentive service to guests according to restaurant standards.
• Anticipate guest needs and provide an efficient and welcoming experience throughout all service periods.
• Maintain strong knowledge of menus, products and restaurant operations in order to confidently assist guests.
• Recommend food and beverage options and support upselling opportunities whenever appropriate.
• Handle guest requests professionally and communicate any complaints or relevant feedback to supervisors and management.
OPERATIONS
• Perform operational duties across breakfast, lunch, dinner, pool service and room service according to business needs.
• Ensure proper setup, mise-en-place, cleanliness and organization of all service areas and stations.
• Support service flow and assist the team during busy operational periods.
• Ensure smooth communication with kitchen and fellow team members during service.
• Follow opening and closing procedures according to department standards.
• Follow department procedures and service standards established by management.
FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assist with billing procedures, cashier responsibilities and operational closing tasks when required.
• Support revenue opportunities through service excellence and upselling initiatives.
RESPONSIBLE BUSINESS
• Ensure grooming, hygiene, health and safety standards are respected at all times.
• Support overall team operations and contribute to a positive and collaborative working environment.
• Communicate operational issues or maintenance points whenever necessary.
