Funciones
The Role
This is first and foremost a hospitality role.
You will help ensure every guest enjoys a seamless, welcoming experience while coordinating the day-to-day operations that keep Quinta Bohemia running beautifully.
Alongside hospitality, you'll help steward our gardens and regenerative landscape, oversee light property maintenance, and coordinate the trusted local partners who help care for the estate.
Over time, this position is intended to evolve into a Property Manager role with increasing responsibility and autonomy.
Your Responsibilitie
Hospitality & Guest Experience
Ensure every guest house and common area is beautifully prepared for arrivals.
Coordinate housekeeping standards and quality.
Assist guests throughout their stay, helping resolve questions or small issues with warmth and professionalism.
Monitor guest feedback and continuously improve the guest experience.
Help maintain the peaceful atmosphere and high standards that define Quinta Bohemia.
Property Operations
Coordinate the day-to-day work of our external partners, including:
Cleaning team
Laundry service
Gardener
Repair and maintenance professionals
Other local suppliers and contractors
Plan schedules and priorities.
Ensure work is completed to a high standard.
Monitor supplies, inventories, and operational needs.
Land Stewardship
Help care for our orchards, food forests, gardens, and regenerative landscapes.
Support our ongoing permaculture and agroforestry projects.
Care for irrigation systems, compost areas, chickens, and outdoor spaces.
Help keep the property healthy, beautiful, and thriving.
Property Care
Perform light maintenance and preventative care throughout the property.
Help maintain buildings, outdoor structures, equipment, pool, irrigation, and infrastructure.
Identify larger maintenance needs and coordinate specialist contractors when required.
Requisitos
Who You Are
We're looking for someone who enjoys hospitality as much as nature.
You might have worked in a boutique hotel, eco-lodge, retreat center, guesthouse, or hospitality business and are looking for a role with more variety, responsibility, and purpose.
You are:
Passionate about hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.
Organized and naturally good at coordinating people and projects.
Comfortable with practical, hands-on work.
Interested in regenerative tourism, permaculture, or sustainable living.
Calm under pressure and an excellent problem solver.
Friendly, proactive, and highly dependable.
Comfortable living and working in a rural environment.
Fluent in English (Portuguese is a strong advantage).
Valid driver’s license (required).
Nice to Have
Experience in hospitality or boutique accommodation.
Experience supervising cleaning or operational teams.
Gardening, horticulture, agroforestry, or permaculture knowledge.
Basic maintenance skills.
Experience using booking or property management software.
Experience in IT and familiarity with social media.
