Funciones
Social media is an established and integral channel for PageGroup, contributing significantly to brand awareness, engagement, and commercial impact. Having won awards for our success in this space, we continue to strengthen our presence across key platforms (primarily LinkedIn) to interact with target audiences and build brand credibility as a trusted talent specialist.
The Global Social Media Manager plays a critical role in shaping and delivering a cohesive social media programme across our regions for each of our key brands. This position drives efficiency, consistency, and commercial outcomes – ensuring our social media activities contribute directly to candidate applications, client leads, and ultimately trackable revenue.
Working within the global Content, Social Media, and Research function, the Global Social Media Manager is responsible for developing and embedding PageGroup's global social media strategy, guiding, influencing and collaborating with stakeholders across our matrix environment. This includes leading the production of assets for key global campaigns, which can then be adapted and adopted across our markets.
To facilitate landing and embedding their global strategy, the GSMM will assume ownership of our key social media platforms around employee advocacy and personal brand building, content lifecycle management and social listening/trend tracking. They will own the plan for each platform, (managing licences, tracking usage and owning vendor relationships), whilst also influencing regional and local social media leads around best practice day to day usage, and robustly measuring the effectiveness of our programmes.
Key Responsibilities
Evolve and refine the global social media strategy in collaboration with GCMD, ensuring alignment with PageGroup's long-term strategic vision while supporting global, regional and local initiatives.
Drive efficiency across global, regional, and local social media operations, identifying opportunities to optimise resource allocation, including potential agency and freelancer involvement.

Lead social media reporting and measurement, translating data into actionable insights to guide strategic decisions.
Maintain clear guidelines for social media usage across PageGroup, including crisis communication protocols aligned with the wider comms team.
Influence broader marketing functions – particularly content teams – by ensuring insights from social listening inform content planning.
Act as a champion for the commercial value of social media, regularly communicating industry trends and programme performance to key stakeholders.
