The role As Pizza Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking pizzas to company standards during prep and service. Working closely with the Head Pizza Chef, you will help deliver consistent quality, strong pace and a smooth service from the pizza section. You will take ownership of the pizzas you produce during your shift, making sure every pizza is prepared, topped, baked and finished with care, accuracy and pride. You will be responsible for:
– Preparing, stretching, topping and baking pizzas to Florentine standards.
– Keeping quality, speed and presentation strong during busy service.
– Completing prep and mise en place so the pizza section is ready and organised.
– Following dough, baking, hygiene, food safety and allergen standards at all times.
– Communicating clearly with the Head Pizza Chef and wider kitchen team during service.
– Taking feedback positively, correcting mistakes quickly and improving through practice. What you will bring We're looking for someone who combines pizza preparation skills with discipline, consistency and a strong team attitude. We'd love to meet someone who has:
– Previous experience as a Pizza Chef or in a similar kitchen role.
– Good understanding of pizza preparation, dough handling and baking standards.
– Ability to work quickly and accurately during high
– volume service.
– Strong attention to detail in shape, bake, toppings and final presentation.
– Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions clearly.
