Funciones
Hotel Vella Nit is a luxury boutique hotel with only 5 rooms. We started operating 1 year ago and are consolidating our business and growth. Our guests come to enjoy a relaxing time in Canet de Mar. Guests are both national as international. The person we are looking for will grow together with the hotel and a partnership can be envisaged on the longer term. Given we are a small hotel, the right candidate will be willing and able to do multiple tasks. The post could develop into a co-management role on the long-term.
Tasks:
guest relations including first contact for guests (phone and via booking platforms)
front desk tasks (check-in, answer questions by guests, cover extra fees, etc)
ensure online checkin, arrival information is shared,etc
check rooms are ready for arrival of guests
occasionally prepare rooms (low season) to cover cleaning crew holiday
relay key information regarding checkin/checkout to cleaning crew
administrative tasks (guest book, breakfast orders, etc)
ensure smooth running of the hotel and help coordinate interventions if needed
develop growth strategies (catering option) and marketing and sales opportunities
Requisitos
We are looking for a motivated team member with a background and studies in Hostelería / Turismo and a strong drive to grow within the hotel industry. The ideal candidate is customer-oriented, solution-focused, and able to work confidently with Excel and major booking platforms.
A natural organiser with an exceptional eye for detail, you manage tasks and people with clarity and calm efficiency. You enjoy working in a dynamic environment, handle multiple responsibilities at once, and maintain high standards even under pressure.
We seek someone eager to learn, develop, and ultimately grow into a future hotelier—a professional who takes ownership, thinks ahead, and contributes to a smooth, welcoming guest experience.
Candidates are preferably located in the area Arenys, Sant Pol or Canet de Mar.

Full year contract
Nivel 4 como Ayudante/a de recepción (Convenio Colectivo Industria de Hostelería y Turismo de Catalunya)
around 25 hours/week
start in August or September
Work schedule: Friday to Tuesday, afternoons (some days starting at 12h00, other days at 15h00) with a maximum of 25 hours weekly. Work schedule could also include some remote tasks (online follow up and guest communications).
