Executive Chef / Head Chef (m/f/d)

Unique opportunity to create and lead the culinary concept of a major new leisure and hospitality destination in Switzerland.
For a newly developed, high-profile food, beverage, sports, and entertainment venue in the Bern region, we are seeking an experienced and entrepreneurial Executive Chef / Head Chef to lead the culinary operation from pre-opening through launch and future growth.
This is a rare opportunity to shape a destination concept from the ground up, combining restaurant operations, events, family experiences, and seasonal programming within a dynamic and innovative environment.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement the overall culinary vision and menu strategy.
Build and lead a high-performing kitchen team.
Create seasonal and scalable food concepts for restaurant, terrace, events, and take-away operations.
Ensure excellent food quality, consistency, hygiene, and guest satisfaction.
Manage food cost, purchasing, inventory, and supplier relationships.
Support the development of private events, corporate functions, and community activities.
Drive operational excellence and profitability.
Requisitos
Proven experience as Executive Chef, Head Chef, Sous Chef, or Culinary Director.
Strong background in high-volume hospitality environments.
Experience with Mediterranean, international, modern casual dining, or lifestyle concepts.
Excellent leadership and team-building skills.
Strong business and cost-management mindset.
Passion for innovation, hospitality, and guest experience.
German and/or English required.
