Mondrian & Hyde Ibiza
¡Join us for a unique opportunity to showcase two one-of-a-kind lifestyle hotel brands coming to the idyllic Cala Llonga beach in Ibiza!
Mondrian Ibiza is a sleek wonderland with 154 guest rooms and highly designed public spaces, including an expansive terrace with bay views.
Hyde Ibiza is a festival-inspired food lovers paradise and showcase for music and nightlife, featuring 401 rooms with natural textures and artisan touches.
Together the properties will have 7 restaurant and bar outlets, ranging from premium sushi and an ocean-to-table Balearic fare, all of them highly programmed.
The hotels are operated by Ennismore, the fastest growing lifestyle hospitality company, in collaboration with Grupo Azul Mar Cala Llonga owned by Apollo.
What you’ll do…
Assist in the preparation of ingredients and dishes in accordance with the standards set by the kitchen.
Work closely with the culinary team to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service.
Learn and apply various cooking techniques, including grilling, sautéing, and plating.
Support the team in monitoring stock levels, ensuring proper storage, and minimizing waste.
Help maintain the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, adhering to hygiene and safety protocols.
Participate in daily kitchen briefings to understand the menu and special requirements for each service.
Assist in the development and testing of new menu items, collaborating with the team to ensure creativity and consistency.
Gain hands-on experience with kitchen equipment, ensuring its correct and safe use.
Learn to manage time efficiently during peak service hours while maintaining high food quality.
Support the team in understanding food cost control, portion sizes, and kitchen budget management.
Requisitos
What we are looking for:
EU Nationality is required.
Fluent English and Spanish. Other Languages is a plus.
Previous experience in a kitchen or hospitality environment is a plus.
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Culinary Arts or a related field.
Passion for cooking and a desire to learn new culinary techniques.
Basic understanding of food safety and kitchen hygiene standards.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work in a high-pressure environment with a focus on delivering quality dishes.
Team-oriented with a positive and proactive attitude.
