Job SummaryThe Front Office trainee will be able to fully experience the front services of the Nobu Hotel Barcelona with a hands
– on approach. After completing this program, the trainee will have learned how a real front services operation is managed with first
– hand experience and will be fully immersed in the Nobu culture. Essential Functions:
– Learn all aspects of the Nobu hotel Barcelona and all pertaining points of interest of the destination.
– Learn hotel room categories and basic information on outlets menus.
– Learn and perform all technical aspects of front services: how to check in/ check out guests, do rooms move, upsell rooms, allocate rooms, balance inventory, deliver luggage and packages, handling dining transfer reservations, etc.
– Learn and execute shift opening and closing procedures.
– Collect guest preferences and prepare for all VIP arrivals.
– Learn how to handle and efficiently resolve guest incidents and internal breakdowns. Requirements:
– Education: Currently studying hospitality management.
– Experience: Prior working experience in a hotel or restaurant is valuable.
– Technical skills: Must have basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word. Micros a plus but not a must.
– Communication: Must be fluent in English and Spanish.
